Christopher Raeburn was thrilled when Victoria Beckham started endorsing clothes.
The singer-turned-designer recently invested in one of Raeburn's waterproof jackets and he says it was great to get the seal of approval from someone so respected in the fashion industry.
Recalling their meeting at the 2011 British Fashion Awards, Raeburn said: "We had a quick chat; I found her to be very engaging. As a young designer it's really great to get such an endorsement from an individual who commands such respect from the fashion elite."
Raeburn also spoke about the jacket Victoria had invested in and says he's pleased she saw the quality that goes into making it.
He told vogue.co.uk: "The jacket was part of our Remade in England range (each season a limited selection of the range is constructed from deconstructed military garments); it was a waterproof jacket made from Swiss military macs with a soft jersey lining - I'd like to think that that she was interested by the cut, detailing and quality of the garment."
