Beethoven Orchestra Bonn will stage a New Year concert in Sichuan's provincial capital Chengdu on Jan 5. The orchestra will also travel to Guangdong's provincial capital Guangzhou and Shenzhen city, and Beijing and Shanghai.

The Chengdu concert, which starts at 8 pm on Jan 5 at Jiaozi Music Center, will feature the music of Beethoven and Haydn, the Chengdu Municipal Foreign Office says.

The Beethoven Orchestra Bonn, with 106 members, ranks among Germany's best.
