Blue Sky and Pure Land is a painting exhibition celebrating the diversity and evolution of Tibetan cultural traditions.

The exhibition comprises works by a dozen Han and Tibetan painters based on their observation of Tibetan areas and the people.

In the paintings, the artists reflect the social changes while preserving the essence of the age-old cultural traditions.

Their works bridge the past and present in a harmonious manner.

The exhibition, which runs till December 10, is being held at the new gallery of the Li Keran Art Foundation.

The gallery was established as a tribute to ink master Li Keran and to promote ink painting.

His son, Li Xiaoke, is a pioneering ink painter and his works are also on show.
