The Ox-head-shaped Zun Porcelain

A Blue and White Deer-head-shaped Zun with Design of Interlocking Branches and Flowers

Time: The reign of Emperor Daoguang (1821-1850), Qing Dynasty

Size: caliber 16.5cm, height 44cm

Venue: National Museum of China (In Beijing)

The picture painted on body is divided into two floors by poems. The upper one is a picture showing the whole process from plucking mulberry leaves to weaving, while the lower one shows farming scenes. Poems by three emperors, Kangxi (1662-1722), Yongzheng (1723-1735), and Qianlong (1736-1795), are painted on the outer surface.
