A cross-Straits academic seminar on the revival of Confucianism was held from April 7-10 at Peking University in Beijing.

The event was co-sponsored by Taiwan Confucianism Institute and the School of Philosophical Research of Peking University.

The seminar centered on issues such as the promulgation of Confucian ideas in modern society, and its value for individuals and communities in a contemporary China that is undergoing dramatic changes.
