Mobike, one of the world's largest smart bike-sharing companies, rode into its first US city, Washington, on Wednesday. The dockless bikes, which cost $1 to rent for 30 minutes, are placed in downtown locations. Mobike officially launched its service in Shanghai in April 2016, and has since expanded to 180 cities globally. The company now operates more than 7 million smart bikes and supports some 25 million rides every day. [Photo provided to China Daily]
