The main purpose of this visit to China was to promote Apple's renewable energy and new environmental protection projects in China. Cook met with China's Vice-Premier Liu Yandong to discuss cooperation with China in science, technology, education and other fields. In addition, he stopped by new Apple Stores across China to communicate with customers and employees and visited an elementary school to see how the iPad becomes part of a classroom.
