The third Senior Diplomatic Officials' Meeting of the Lancang-Mekong River Dialogue and Cooperation organization will be held on Wednesday in Sanya, Hainan province, the Foreign Ministry said.

Vice-Foreign Minister Liu Zhenmin will co-host the meeting with his counterpart from Thailand, said ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying during a daily press briefing on Tuesday. Diplomats from Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam will also attend the meeting, she added.

The meeting will prepare for the first leaders' meeting of the organization, which will be held in March, Hua said.

It will set agendas and prepare the outcome documents for the meeting, Hua added.
