RABAT - King Mohammed VI of Morocco will pay an official visit to the China on November 27 at the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, the royal cabinet said on Monday in a press release.
During this visit, king Mohamed VI will hold official talks with the Chinese President Xi Jinping, said the release, adding that the two heads of states will chair the signing ceremony of bilateral agreements.
This official visit will be the second of the Moroccan monarch to China since 2002, which comes almost a year after he had received an invitation from the Chinese President Xi Jinping.
During his meeting earlier this month in Fez with the Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) Yu Zhengsheng, the Chinese official said that the king's upcoming visit to the People's Republic of China will promote cooperation between the two countries.
"I am sure that the upcoming visit by HM the King to China will be crowned with huge success and will promote our bilateral cooperation in all areas," he said.
