Zambia attack kills one Chinese

LUSAKA - One Chinese worker died and six others were injured when armed gunmen attacked a Chinese firm in Lusaka, the Zambian capital, embassy officials said on Thursday.
Chinese embassy staff said four armed robbers attacked the Chinese firm before dawn on Wednesday on the outskirts of the Zambian capital.
According to embassy official, two robbers were killed in the process while the injured Chinese workers suffered varying degrees of injuries.
Chinese medical group in Zambia rushed to a local hospital where the injured were admitted to treat them Chinese volunteers donated blood, the officials said.
Chinese ambassador to Zambia Zhou Yuxiao, who rushed to the hospital to comfort the injured, said he would talks with Zambian officials to ensure that the matter is solved and the murderers arrested.
