7 killed, 11,000 displaced as floods hit Indonesia

JAKARTA -- Widespread flooding in Indonesia's capital Jakarta has left seven dead and displaced about 11,000 people, with bigger floods expected to be caused by heavy downpours in the next two days, Sutopo Purwo Nugroho, the spokesman for national disaster agency, told Xinhua by phone on Saturday.
