Passenger plane skids off in C. Philippine airport

KALIBO, Philippines - A Zest Air chartered plane with 180 passengers on board skidded off the runway of the Kalibo International Airport in central Philippine province of Aklan on Thursday afternoon, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said.
The incident happened at 3:45 p.m. as the plane is about to take off for Busan of South Korea. All passengers, most of whom South Koreans, and crew are safe.
The CAAP has immediately conducted an investigation by talking to the plane pilots on what had happened.
The plane has already been brought to its parking bay after the incident.
