Chinese FM meets Clintons on relations

UNITED NATIONS - Visiting Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with former US President Bill Clinton and his wife, Hillary, who was a former secretary of state, on relations between China and the United States at the United Nations on Thursday.
Wang said the Clintons attached great importance to China-US relations. He expressed the hope that they would continue to play constructive roles in pushing forward the China-US relationship through promoting mutual trust and strengthening friendship of the two peoples.
The Clintons said the United States and China should strengthen cooperation in various fields and promote contacts of people from all walks of life, so as to enhance mutual understanding and build a future-oriented partnership.
