TEHRAN - Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was unhurt after the helicopter carrying him made an emergency landing "due to a technical malfunction," Press TV reported on Sunday.
No one was hurt after the pilot of the helicopter carrying Ahmadinejad and a group of his executive officials "managed to land the helicopter skillfully and safely" in the heights of the Alborz Mountain range in northern Iran on Sunday morning, said the report.
Ahmadinejad was heading to inaugurate a road project. Following the incident, he issued the inauguration orders and returned to Tehran via land, according to Press TV.
