TRIPOLI - French President Nicolas Sarkozy arrived in Tripoli on Thursday, his office said, shortly after British Prime Minister David Cameron's plane landed in the country.
Sarkozy and Cameron, who spearheaded the West's military intervention to back rebel forces whose interim council is now the ruling power in Libya, are the first foreign leaders to visit since the toppling of Muammar Gadhafi.
