A date with nature and more
The resort is tucked in between lush greens and shaded groves of Phuket's only national park and the pristine sands and azure waters of beautiful Nai Yang beach. It’s suitable both for family getaways with its family-friendly rooms and recreation activities, as well as for those who want some privacy.
Because the resort is sprawled across 15 hectares of land, guests would not feel cramped and there is definitely space for solitude.
There are two adult-only pools for those who choose not to mingle with children, and a family pool. Or, for even more exclusivity, there are rooms with private pool. We take a walk in the resort and were completely awestrucked by the bold and unconventional designs and pleasantly surprised to find treasures like an organic garden with various herbs and spices used by Indigo Pearl’s kitchens, and their own brand of top quality collectibles to bring home.
Indigo Pearl boosts of its own brand of high quality toiletries, spa essentials, tin wares and curry paste (yes, you read right), among other souvenirs to bring home.
And one notable observation is the high morale of the staff, which definitely rubs on to those staying there. Everyone is so passionate about their job and serves from the heart. While chatting with some of them, the same words are repeated – I’m very happy with what I’m doing – and they’re ever ready to share with you high points of their career in Indigo Pearl.
Some may attribute it to the friendly nature of Thais but it is more than that. They go out of the way. One of the evenings there, we requested a front counter officer to bring us to The Nest, a luxurious spa suite suspended midair, to take some photos. Although she was busy, she readily accompanied us and patiently wait while we took some shots. She even suggested different angles to capture the best view.
