Wenger woes continue

Arsenal's 2-1 home loss to injury-depleted Manchester United on Saturday prompted some fans to vent their frustration on Twitter and call for manager Arsene Wenger's departure.
#Wengerout became a trending hashtag on the social networking site, with celebrity participation as a catalyst. British television host Piers Morgan, notably a die-hard Arsenal fan, said "Done, dusted, kaput. He has to go. #WengerOut"
Morgan's comments came as his beloved team continued its worst season start, dropping to the eighth place with 15 points behind the current league leader Chelsea after 12 games.
Kieran Gibbs' own goal at the 56th minute again exposed the Gunners' defensive weaknesses, a key point Wenger has failed to address for seasons. United's Rooney added another at the second half before Arsenal striker Giroud's stoppage goal.
Wenger's credibility has been long been in doubt as his team is reeling from a nine-year Premier League trophy drought. Years of disappointment have made fans gradually forget the glorious history the Frenchman has made together with his side, which won the league title in 2003-2004 season without a single defeat.
It was the last league trophy for Arsenal, which then fell to the dry spell by finishing top four every season, enough to qualify the elite Champions League.
Now currently standing at eighth, rumors of replacement of Wenger came as no surprise.
British newspaper Daily Star has linked former Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola, now in charge of German league leader Bayern Munich, to the London-based club.
