MANCHESTER, N.H. - Rookie Kelly Olynyk had 15 points and six rebounds and the Boston Celtics got their first preseason win under new coach Brad Stevens, beating New York 111-81 Saturday night as the Knicks rested Carmelo Anthony and four other veterans.

The Celtics, winless in their first three games, scored the first 10 points and never trailed. Stevens was hired away from Butler in the offseason to take over the storied franchise.

Boston started the third quarter with a 20-5 run against a JV version of the Knicks, who were playing their third game in four nights and left Anthony on the bench rather than take any risks with the NBA's reigning scoring champion.

New York also rested starters Raymond Felton and Tyson Chandler as well as Metta World Peace and Beno Udrih.

Ike Diogu led the Knicks (1-2) with 21 points and eight rebounds, including five on the offensive end. Toure Murry added 16 points and Andrea Bargnani added 11.

Olynyk, a 7-footer from Gonzaga drafted by the Celtics with the 13th overall pick, also had six rebounds, three steals and a block as the Celtics won a "home" game played about 50 miles north of Boston.

The Celtics outrebounded New York 45-34.

Avery Bradley and Jordan Crawford scored 13 apiece for the Celtics and Jared Sullinger finished with 12 points and five rebounds. MarShon Brooks scored 11 of his 13 points in the second half as the Celtics let their younger players finish off the rout.
