A barbershop owner put a shoe cover on her pet duck's tail, which has drawn much attention recently in Huaxi District of Guiyang, the capital city of Southwest China's Guizhou Province, Oct 26, 2011.

The duck named Ducky has been wearing the shoe cover for a month, according to its owner Ms. Deng. Her son bought Ducky three months ago when it was a fuzzy duckling. At first, since Ducky excreted nearly every five minutes, Ms. Deng and her family had to use a roll of toilet paper a day to clean up its feces.

As Ducky grows up, the smell of its feces might trouble the passers-by in the alley. To solve this problem, Ms. Deng thought of the idea of shoe cover, which Ducky spent a week to get used to.

Now, Ducky is a little star in the neighborhood. Children love to play with it, and drop by the shop every day when school is over. “Ducky is a good boy, and he gets along well with the shoe cover now”, smiles Ms. Deng.
