Master chef opens own restaurant
One of the most talked about new restaurants of the week is The Beijing Kitchen, which opened on Saturday on the sixth floor at the SKP mall. Ku Chi Fai, the 53-year-old from Hong Kong, is the executive chef as well as the co-owner of the restaurant with Beijing Hualian Group. Ku is well known for his consumate skill in Cantonese cuisine with an international outlook. He has previously worked with the Ritz Carlton in Beijing and Osaka, Japan for over ten years.
