Russian bomber tests missile firing capacity

VLADIVOSTOK - A Russian Tu-95 MS bomber fired two cruise missiles in an interval of 50 seconds for the first time on Wednesday, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

The bomber fired the two missiles during a tactical flight training in the Telemba north test site of Zabaikalye Territory, a senior military official of Ukrainka airbase in Russia's Far Eastern Amur Region was quoted as saying.

According to the official, during the training, a crew fired two missiles at an interval of 50 seconds. A second crew fired another missile. All three missiles flew about 1,500 km.
