Audi R8 Spyder

The luxury convertible sports car, built in Audi's production facility in Neckarsulm, Germany hit the Chinese market last week with a tag price of almost 2.5 million yuan.

The company will hold a road show for the top-class model in Beijing and Shanghai in August and September.

The car is equipped with a 5.2 FSI V10 gasoline engine, which produces maximum power of 525 hp and top torque of 530 Nm.

Because of Audi's lightweight construction, the powerful engine weighs only 258 kg.

It also features a six-speed R-tronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.

The R8 Spyder can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 4.1 seconds and has a top speed of 313 km/h.
