Dutch university to open research branch in China

THE HAGUE - The Delft University of Technology will establish a research branch in Beijing, the university said Tuesday.


Delft will be the first Dutch university to open a branch in China.


The new Delft University of Technology - Beijing Research Center will be based at the Institute of Semiconductors at the Chinese Academy of Science (CAS).


The branch will specialize in research on energy-efficient LED lighting.
