Since the end of last year, China's domestic film market has continued to break box office records. This time around, low-budget romance "So Young" is creating quite a stir, taking a staggering 350 million yuan in its first week.

350 million yuan in one week puts famous actress Zhao Wei at the top of the list of most profitable female directors. Before her the place belonged to Xue Xiaolu, the director of "Finding Mr. Right", which hit Chinese screens last month.

Zhao Wei, Director, "So Young", said, "I'm given box office figures every other day. I feel OK. I am very satisfied with what we've taken. You can't be too greedy."
