The reality TV star - who already has two style websites, laurenconrad.com and thebeautydepartment.com - wants to create her own cosmetics range because it's something she has always wanted to do.
She wrote on Forbes.com: "Right now, one of my main objectives is to expand thebeautydepartment.com into a product line. I am currently researching all of my options, but should begin the process of executing an actual line very soon - stay tuned!"
Speaking about The Beauty Department website - a joint venture with her hairstylist, Kristin Ess, and her make-up artist, Amy Nadine - says she wanted to provide girls with someone talk to get beauty tips and style advice.
She said: "Growing up, I never really learned how to do my hair and makeup correctly and the results weren't always great. Our goal with The Beauty Department is to provide girls and young women with a basic how-to of simplified versions of popular trends and styles that they can recreate themselves."
Her other website, LaurenConrad.com, is a community-based site where users can create profiles, share tips and take advice from the actress and entrepreneur on topics such as home decorating, party planning, healthy eating and make-up application.
