The giant graffiti on two boards outside Zhengjia Plaza in Guangzhou was created by French artist Julien Seth Malland in September last year, and was demolished in December. The graffiti, Flying Children, featured a a flying boy and girl, and was a hit as the world's largest graffiti.
The plaza had rented out one of the boards for outdoor advertising, which was identified as illegal advertising by city inspectors. Then the plaza was ordered to demolish the boads and the graffiti on them.
