Exhibition of veteran artist's calligraphy, seal-cutting

Chinese artist Luo Pengpeng's solo exhibition of calligraphy and seal-cutting has opened at the Museum of Chinese Women and Children in Beijing.

Vice-president of the Chinese Seal Cutting Academy, of Tsinghua University's Academy of Art and Design, Luo has held her exhibition in many countries and published a number of books on the arts of calligraphy and seal cutting.

In 2008, Chinese National Academy of Arts and Xiling Society of Seal Arts jointly applied to UNESCO to list Chinese seal engraving as an intangible cultural heritage, and succeeded in 2009. Luo was director of the application project.

The exhibition will close on Oct 5.
