3. Hanging out in malls
Some elderly residents, are taking their grandchildren to shopping malls because the malls have air conditioning and also because they want to save money on electricity bills.
It's not uncommon to see elderly people sitting in a shopping mall rest area all afternoon without even glancing into a store.
