5.9-magnitude quake hits Taiwan

An earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale jolted 25km ESE of Taitung City, Taiwan at 20:06: 32 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 25.34 km, was initially determined to be at 22.6936 degrees north latitude and 121.3847 degrees east longitude.
