Xi meets newly sworn-in Macao SAR chief executive

MACAO - Chinese President Xi Jinping met with Chui Sai On, the fourth chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR) who just took office and started a new five-year term Saturday morning.
Chui, 57, was re-elected the fourth-term chief executive of the Macao SAR on Aug. 31 this year. He had served as the third-term chief executive of the Macao SAR since 2009.
The president administered the swearing-in of Chui and the fourth-term government and the prosecutor general of the SAR at a gathering marking the 15th anniversary of Macao's return to the motherland and the inauguration of the new government.
