MACAO - Macao is ready on Saturday morning for a grand ceremony to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its return to the motherland.
A gathering of some 1,000 dignitaries at the Macao East Asian Games Dome will also witness the swearing-in of the fourth-term chief executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), administered by Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as the SAR's fourth-term government.
President Xi, who arrived on Friday, is expected to deliver a speech after the inauguration ceremony.
