BEIJING - A 5.1-magnitude earthquake jolted southwest China's Tibet autonomous region at 9:15 am Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.
The quake hit the Nyima county in Nagqu Prefecture of Tibet, according to the center.
The epicenter, with a depth of 20 km, was monitored at about 33.8 degrees north latitude and 89.2 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
