3 dead in Central China mine explosion

YICHANG - Three people were killed in a gas explosion in a coal mine in Central China's Wufeng county, Hubei province early Friday morning, authorities said.
The victims Xue Yun, 49; Xu Diguo, 39; and Deng Hongjun, 46 were working underground around 1:30 a.m. when the blast took place.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
