Top Sichuan political adviser under probe

BEIJING - Li Chongxi, chairman of the Sichuan provincial committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, was investigated for suspected serious violations of discipline and law, the Communist Party of China Central Commission for Discipline Inspection said in a statement Sunday.
