2 killed, 2 missing in SW China landslide

KUNMING -- Two people were killed and another two were missing after a landslide above a tailings pond on Monday in Jinping county of Southwest China's Yunnan province, local authorities said.
The landslide, which buried five people working at the tailings pond, took place at 8:43 am Monday.
Rescuers found two dead at the scene. One injured person was sent to hospital. Two people remained missing as of 5:00 pm Monday.
The landslide was caused by days of continuous heavy rain in the region, according to the county government.
