World Endoscopy Conference held in Taipei

The 5th World Endoscopy Conference and Award Ceremony for the Endos Award in Medical Science & Technology was held in Taipei from Dec 13 to 16.
The event was hosted by the World Endoscopy Doctors Association (WEDA) and the Taiwan Cross-strait Medical Interchange Association, with the support of tens of medical institutions in various countries and regions.
Taiwan leader Ma Ying-jeou sent a congratulatory message, hoping the gathering can facilitate international exchanges in the field for the benefits of human health.
The WEDA is an international medical association that engages in academic exchanges and cooperation among endoscopy physicians and doctors from around the world.
It intends to explore and establish a unified endoscopic physician training and examination system, standardize the various professional disciplines for endoscopic physicians and engage in the comprehensive and systematic study of theory and operation of endoscopic training.
