Two youths, hunting birds with slingshot, were responsible for breaking newspaper office windows in Yibin, Sichuan province, Huaxi Metropolis Daily reported on Aug 9.

The windows in four offices had holes, almost like bullet holes.

The Yibin Daily warned people inside the premises to "make sure the windows are closed and curtains are drawn when working".

Police found steel pellets inside the offices, near the windows.
