Three foreigners received prison sentences in separate cases in a district court in Guangdong province on Tuesday.
Two Nigerians, both caught selling drugs on a street in the Nanhai district of Foshan in September 2012, received sentences of three years and three and a half years.
They were also fined 3,000 yuan ($490) and will be expelled from China after they have served their terms.
A man surnamed Zhou, from Myanmar, was sentenced to 13 years for stealing jade worth nearly 6 million yuan. He was also fined 13,000 yuan.
The cases were heard at Nanhai district people's court, the first time that cases related to foreigners were heard at a district court in Guangdong province, the Nanfang Daily reported.
