Chinese VP meets with Nepalese counterpart

BEIJING - Vice President Li Yuanchao on Friday met with his Nepalese counterpart Parmananda Jha, pledging to boost ties between the two countries.
Li said China and Nepal have developed a healthy and stable relationship since they first established diplomatic ties.
China is committed to developing bilateral relations based on goodwill with its neighbors and hopes to benefit neighboring countries with its development, he said, adding that China is willing to work with Nepal to expand mutually beneficial cooperation and communication in all fields.
Jha thanked Li for China's assistance and support over the years, adding that Nepal supports the one-China policy.
He also voiced his hope to strengthen bilateral cooperation and communication.
