A fund to promote youth exchanges from Guangdong province, Hong Kong and Macao was set up in Guangzhou, the capital of Guangdong, on Thursday.
The fund, which was jointly launched by Guangzhou Youth Federation and Fok Ying Tong Education Foundation, is open to public participation.
The Hong Kong-based foundation, named after former tycoon Henry Fok, initially invested HK$3 million ($386,000) in the fund to support creative projects for youth from the three regions.
