9 killed in S China auto shop fire

GUANGZHOU - Nine people were killed in a fire that broke out in South China's Guangdong province early Friday morning, the local government said.
The fire broke out at 5:26 am at an automobile detailing center in the Nanhai district of the city of Foshan, sources with the provincial government's emergency office said.
An investigation into the cause of the fire is under way.
