FDA testing service provider opens China office

SHENYANG - E.K.Science Research, a testing service provider of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA), opened its first China office Friday in the northeastern province of Liaoning.

The office, located in the city of Benxi will offer testing, registration, authentication and consultation services to Chinese exporters yearning to tap the American market, according to a biomedical trade fair held in Benxi on Friday.

The Los Angeles-based E.K.Science provides testing services to over 70 percent of the food, medicine, medical equipment, cosmetics, food supplements and radioactive electronics imported by the America every year.

It has 25 research institutions in America and 15 overseas offices across the world.
