Why the world founds startups in China

Hiring tends to be time-consuming, more so for Wang Lin, 30, the head of overseas business with Walltrek, a relatively new Chinese online recruitment startup that was incubated in Beijing in 2016 and has since expanded overseas rapidly.

Wang was tasked to hire at least five foreign employees for call centers abroad. Luckily, she found a "shortcut".

Walltrek's multinational team of hiring professionals offers help "at a much lower cost than the market average", Wang said. The startup developed a system that links employers and matching candidates among the jobseekers.

Stefan Djokovic, a Serbian, founder and CEO of Walltrek, calls the service the "Uber of Human Resources" - the matching system helps reduce the time and cost of both jobseekers and employers.
