Grand Lisboa, a 58-story tower shaped like a lotus flower, is a Macao landmark. With its distinctive location and architectural design, 14 acclaimed restaurants and 24-hour entertainment, the Grand Lisboa has earned its reputation as one of Asia's finest casino hotels. The casino and restaurants within Grand Lisboa were opened on Feb 11, 2007, while the hotel was opened in Dec 2008.
Macao, China's only city that legally allows casino gambling, is facing pressure from the central government's high-profile corruption crackdown. The release of the special administrative region data showed gaming revenues falling by 2.6 percent year-on-year to 351.52 billion patacas ($44 billion) last year, the first decline since annual figures were first made public in 2002.
