Dalian's ports see cargo increase

Dalian's ports handled 310 million metric tons of cargo in the first three quarters of this year, a year-on-year increase of 11.4 percent, according to Dalian Statistic Bureau.
Domestic trade cargo throughput was 220 million tons, up 12 percent, and foreign trade cargo throughput increased by 9.9 percent.
In the first three quarters, the container throughput of the city's ports hit 7.2 million TEUs (twenty-foot equivalent units), a year-on-year increase of 23.3 percent.
Foreign trade container output accounted for 52.5 percent, up 8.9 percent.
