EU endorses solar deal with China

BRUSSELS - The European Commission on Friday said it has endorsed an "amicable solution" over imports of Chinese solar panels.
In a statement, the European Commission, the EU's executive arm, said it had received almost unanimous support without further details.
The agreement will be officially published on Saturday and takes effect on August 6, according to the statement.
