Chinese shares fall for 4th day

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed lower for the fourth trading day on Monday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index decreased 1.72 percent, or 34.54 points, to end at 1,976.31.
The Shenzhen Component Index lost 2.23 percent, or 174.83 points, to 7,668.54.
