Chinese shares close lower Thursday

BEIJING - Chinese shares closed lower on Thursday as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.27 percent, or 6.27 points, to end at 2,317.75.
The Shenzhen Component Index dipped 0.27 percent, or 25.21 points, to 9,379.19.
