Contracts valued at several billion yuan are expected to be signed at an international licensing and sourcing expo which was unveiled at Shanghai World Expo Exhibition & Convention Center on Tuesday.
"These contracts will create retail sales of dozens of billion yuan in the licensing brand industry," said Chen Yu, general manager of Shanghai Oleena Communications Inc.
The three-day event, co-sponsored by China ACG Group Co Ltd and Oleena, displays several hundred licensing brands and projects from more than 10 countries and regions, including the United States, the Netherlands, Russia, the United Kingdom, France, Denmark and Japan, said Chen.
The expo is the world's third-largest of its kind after the US and the UK.
