BEIJING - Chinese shares closed mixed Monday, as the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.2 percent, or 4.54 points, to end at 2,293.08.
The Shenzhen Component Index shed 0.48 percent, or 44.23 points, to 9,260.63.
